                              What makes us different?
 After years of failing to find a truly wholesome family vacation spot for our Christian family, we decided to create our own                           and we invite you to come along!
We make every effort to provide a real Christian environment.  Around here, we don't just wear the label "Christian"...we try the very best we can to live it! 

Our rental cabins are only a mile and a half south of the bridge over Summersville Lake.  The city of Summersville is only 5 or 6 minutes north of us, so there are plenty of places to eat out, antique and craft shops, and a Wal-Mart Supercenter.  The New River Gorge Bridge is 14 minutes away.  Our cabins are close to Carnifex Ferry Battlefield, Hawk's Nest, and Babcock State Parks.  Beckley is only a half hour drive...be sure to go see the Exhibition Coal Mine.  Richwood and it's wonderfully trout stocked Cranberry River and Monongahela National Forest is only a 20 minute scenic drive.  We are 50 minutes from Winterplace Ski Area and an hour and a half from Snowshoe Ski Resort.  Like to hunt or hike?...Laurel Ridge Cabins are adjacent to over 120 acres of huntable/ hikable land.

We primarily rent to married couples, families, and church groups.  It's the perfect place for a church youth group or church retreat as well as the perfect romantic spot for a honeymoon!  Having a family reunion?...Don't get stuck at a place where your family is scattered out...we'll keep you all together!  We are also the perfect place for homeschoolers!  Ask about our anniversary, honeymoon, and couples packages.... we specialize in romantic occassions!

Can we have fun at Laurel Ridge Cabins?
Absolutely!  God created this beautiful area for us to enjoy.   You can allow your children to play in the field without worries.  Our family is all about fun...you'll frequently find us playing volleyball or horseshoes with our guests, hosting a marshmallow roast , or enjoying a game of Yahtzee...when we're not taking guests on a trek for wildlife at night!

Though Laurel Ridge Cabins is located less than a mile from U.S.19, you'll love the feeling of isolation our wooded atmosphere provides.  Kids will love our big playground!!
